Frequently Asked Questions

A Homecoming Mum is a beloved Texas tradition. What started generations ago as a simple chrysanthemum corsage has grown into a large, elaborate keepsake of ribbons, bells, charms, glitter letters, and a silk flower. Homecoming itself centers on a high school football game. The week leading up to it is called Spirit Week, and on the Friday of the homecoming football game the girls wear their mums and the boys wear their garters to show their school spirit.
